One of the constants in life is „the place to meet“, cafés, bars. La KaffeehausAvantgarde refers to these places where time, space and quotations clash: old wood meets new grains; Mozart has a drink with Chuck Berry; Don Giovanni sings “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction”; a hard disk free environment where experiment and entertainment kiss each other with a smile.
Poetry and energy determine the sound of internationally sought after musicians: Neither 4/4 bar nor barelessity is secure of them. They want as well to please as tease when they make their way through rumbling rumbas and bitchy bounces, Czech ChaCha and coincidences of counterpoint, the power of punk and the charm of chanson, French expressionism and rhythm rests of Latin. There’s always one behind them; here you’re lying the right way funeral worker says.
